I determine what is or is not acceptable in my life

The fore mentioned is a rare absolute statement. But is absolutely true.
I have dear friends fr my youth who’s behavior and or beliefs of late have alienated me from my ability to keep my mouth shut. I have always prided myself on my ability to live and let live. But evidently I have personal issues with racists, bigots and homophobes.
Living in the wake of Americas biggest failure as voters, Donald Trump, and his resurrection of hate and racism in my country I've lost my patience with the “other side”.
You see I have a Brothe-in-law and a (step) Grandson as well as a niece that are of mixed race. And when I hear people say the N word, or make statements about “them” included in their remarks is my family. And challenge any member of my family, you have both of us to contend with.
Even if I’ve known you and loved you for my entire life, I will not tolerate your boasting of oppressing any persons basic human rights. And please stop using your misinterpretation of the Bible to justify your white supremacy, your homophobia or your hate of any single thing different than yourself. You are wrong. I will call you out. I will walk away from you.
Jesus said very clearly… Love your neighbor.
So just because we’ve been friends for 30 years and I’ve always known you were racist and I used to take a blind eye to it… I don’t anymore. It bothers me now too much to keep quiet.
I decide what/ who is acceptable in my life
